Founder and principal of Design by DuBois, Alicia DuBois Schopp (pronounced: ah-LEESH-a, d OO b w AA, Shop), is a talented Interior Designer helping homeowners and commercial clients create spaces that deliver function and design. While she has had a love and passion for design since childhood, she comes to her interior design practice with an educational and professional background in interior design. This experience manifests in giving Alicia a solid view and understanding of all the challenges and moving parts a design requires. 

 ​A graduate of the CIDA-accredited Art Institute of Atlanta with a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Interior Design, she has over 20 years of experience in the interior design industry, working for commercial and residential design firms and eight years as a senior art consultant with the world's largest art publisher.

Applying skills honed throughout her background, Alicia took her skills, design abilities, and creativity to establish Design by DuBois in 2019. Since launching her own firm, she has designed a great number of interiors around the country, including many award-winning projects.

When Alicia is not designing, she enjoys spending time with her husband & two dogs in their home in Atlanta.
